The short film “Grape Season,” directed by Behrouz Khorram, will be featured in the fourth edition of the Meihodo Festival, which will be held in New York City from March 10, 2022, to March 19, 2022.

This festival is hosted by Japanese and American filmmakers with the aim of supporting and discovering young talents in the film industry. It has featured prominent figures in world cinema such as Juliette Binoche, Ang Lee, Tan Dun, and more. This year, Michael Douglas, the Oscar-winning actor, will be present as a consultant and special guest at the event.

Short films in the categories of fiction, documentary, music video, and more are the main sections of this festival, and in addition to the grand prize of $20,000 in each category, other cash prizes will be awarded to the winners.

The short film “Grape Season,” written by Elham Nami and Behrouz Khorram and produced by Amin Azarian, is being distributed by Farascreen Film Company.
